NZFF is a collaboration between Point16 and Icehouse Ventures. We combined a decade of deep Fintech industry experience with one of the country’s most active early-stage investment platforms. The goal? To back Fintech founders earlier, smarter, and with the kind of support that actually makes a difference - capital, connections, and access to real expertise, when it counts.

Business growth specialist, muti-company director, and serial investor. Experienced in corporate venturing, helped set up Red Bird Ventures. Investor and advisor in multiple fintech start-ups. Founder of Point16 and co-founder of Sustainable Lifestyle Fund.

Former executive with Visa with 20 years financial services experience in Asia Pacific, UK and Europe. Marty is now an advisor and investor for multiple Fintechs in NZ and UK. He focuses on capital raises, commercialisation and international growth.

Kate Eaglen
Fintech risk and compliance specialist. Previously a lawyer at top tier law firms and in-house at a major bank. Has held AML Compliance Officer and Privacy Officer positions, and headed the legal, risk and compliance function at a Corporate VC firm.

Passionate about the solving interesting customer problems. Jamie has experience in corporate venturing, business strategy and emerging tech including neo banking, open data, SME lending and digital platforms. Jamie brings a strong operational perspective and expertise in fintech partnerships to NZFF.
